Frequently, I ask people who have worked with me to offer an endorsement of my coaching services.  Following are some of the comments that I have received.  For each testimonial, I put the type of work I did in bold print:

+Through working with Ann, I was able to gain a new understanding of  how I approach problems and interact with others. She gave me encouragement and practical strategies that I  could immediately apply to real-life situations (Andy L.) Life Coaching

+Enthusiastic, insightful, creative and attentive – just a few of the words I’d use to describe Ann’s approach to working with her coaching clients.  She knows her stuff, too!  As a lifelong student of the human mind, Ann brings a thoughtfully-shaped perspective to interpreting assessment results.  She worked with me on my MBTI III report and I walked away with deeper understanding of my approach and reactions to situations in my life.  Ever since our session, I’m conscious of choosing my behavior rather than falling into the same old traps and being disappointed with myself .  (Julie B.) +Ann has the gift to motivate and encourage  you to do your best.  She has a endless bag of tools to solve any situation in your personal life.  I would highly recommend Ann for your Life Coach if you are ready to make the commitment  and to take the steps to make positive changes in your life.  She will totally energize  you to new levels that you would never dream of accomplishing.  (Greg K.) +As a young professional, I have demonstrated that I possess the skills necessary to be successful.  I will admit that I was not sure what the MBTI-III would be able to do for me.  After the feedback session with Ms. Holm, I am now a firm believer in the value of this tool.I was not surprised to find my Meyers-Briggs type to be ENTP – Extroverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Perceiving.  I am fairly predictable in this sense.  What Ms. Holm was able to do for me with the step III was to isolate my weaknesses and help formulate strategies to make me more productive. For example, I tend to embrace broad ideas and concepts, but get bogged down in details and execution.  I have had a major project that has been in limbo for over 5 years; there are 2 years remaining before the final deadline.  I have known what I wanted to do for this project, but have been psychologically paralyzed for several years.  Ms. Holm’s session allowed me to understand why I was delaying the inevitable and we put into action a plan for me to finish the project.  Within 3 weeks the project was completed. With the MBTI-III, she was able to identify another area which has tremendous impact on both my professional and personal life.  This deals with my tendency to be short with people who aren’t as quick-paced as I am.  I have made a conscious effort to be patient and thoughtful in my conversations both at work and at home.  Although the rewards of this tends to be an “intangible,” but one can see the value in changing of my behavior. Overall, I am convinced that there is much merit to the MBTI-III and its analysis.  It an essential tool if one is trying to realize and achieve one’s full potential. (L.N. +Ann brings a unique combination of knowledge about type theory and its practical application and years of experience as a neurorehabilitation therapist to her coaching practice. Through these approaches she is able to bring out the most potential in her clients.  (Lisa M.) Life Coaching

+Ann greatly impressed me with her knowledge of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality inventory and all its facets. She has a unique way of making it understandable and dynamic. I interviewed Ann for an article and she brought the topic to life with stories. I look forward to working with her in taking the authentic MBTI test and learning more about myself.     (Marcia J.) +Being a life coach is perfect for Ann.  She has a way of assessing any conversation, situation, relationship etc… that you may need help with.  She can put forth several options of how it can be handled. She can teach you how to respond to a co-worker, a family member, or neighbor who is completely exasperating. You come away with this “zen-like” feeling that it’s going to be ok.  You would be amazed at how you can change the tone of a teenager’s attitude by incorporating a few of her suggestions into the conversation or event.  (Jackie K. ) Life Coaching

+I found Ann online when I was looking for someone to guide me in understanding Jungian typology. She was enthusiastic about my project and clearly gave her best to suit my particular needs. She was very thorough in her guidance and answers. She didn’t just give me pat answers she was “trained” to believe, she gave me reasoning and examples. It was clear she thought about her answers and advice and it was obvious she really knew and understood typology. (Wendi T.) Special Project

+I became aware of the Myers Briggs test after my new manager suggested it as tool  to gain insight into “how you tick” and for him to be aware of our strengths and weaknesses. Well I took the test, although it was not the authentic instrument, and discovered I was an INFJ. The description provided were scarily accurate but it only emphasized  strengths but no weaknesses or areas for improvement. I took some more tests I found on the Internet and the result was always the same: INFJ. I noticed many Internet sites treat the subject almost as a parlor game, alongside personality measures such as the “what  Star Trek character are you?’ test.  I was frustrated by the generalisations and stereotyping which I found unhelpful. I then read the INFJ description on Ann Holm’s website and began corresponding with her. I took the official MBTI Form Q that she provided and the result came back again as I N F J. However the feedback was far more meaningful than merely saying my type was all mystic and poetic. She provided  real insights and recommendations to use in my day to day life. Yes it’s nice to read the good things about your personality type but there are traps which you an repeatedly fall into unless you know they are there. Ann’s feedback and answers to my queries have been invaluable. For anyone, especially  us “complex” rare types I think it is vitally important that when you take the MBTI,  use a trained practitioner.  They can provide the test and offer careful, sensitive  feedback. Personality tests should not be treated as a parlor game as you are talking about how you operate in day to day life. Ann has always answered my queries even months after I’ve taken the test and her insights are always spot on. I can not speak highly enough of Ann Holm.  Her careful and sensitive insights have been profound.  (Paul J.) Life Coaching
